The Report button goes mobile

The mobile app can now flag someone else's published commit for the moderators, with a reason and up to 500 characters of detail. The web's five-a-minute cap comes along for the ride.

You're scrolling the log on your phone when a commit turns out to be a bogus package link. You tap More, tap Report, pick spam, add a line about the link, and send. The sheet closes with nothing to show. No badge appears, no toast appears, and the commit sits right where it was.

Credit goes to simonhamp, who wired the app's Report item to a signed request the phone makes with its approved key. It takes one of four reasons, which are spam, harassment, unsafe or other, plus optional details up to 500 characters, and allows five reports a minute per user. Your own commit is refused outright, while a commit that is pending, rejected, deleted, missing or across a block looks like it doesn't exist, deliberately the same answer for every case.

One catch. Reporting doesn't hide the commit, and a second report on the same commit is quietly dropped. The first report stands even if a moderator already dismissed it, so the phone can't reopen a dismissed report.
