Profile badges now travel single file
Your achievement shelf is a single row now, and a hover or a tap opens the whole collection, locked badges and progress included. The wall of chips is gone.

Scroll to any profile and the achievement shelf is one 28-pixel strip. The badges you've earned appear in a line, followed by a quiet +3 more. Rest your mouse on it for a third of a second and a panel drops open with all 13, earned badges solid, locked ones dashed and tagged with progress against their targets. Tap the strip on a phone and the same panel appears.
Credit goes to paulinevos, who taught the shelf to count its own pixels. It measures each earned badge, adds the gaps, and keeps as many as fit. Whatever doesn't fit becomes the +N more counter, recalculated whenever the row or a badge changes size. The panel holds all 13 badges and scrolls if your screen is short. Click one and the full achievements dialog opens. Earned badges get a burst of confetti on the way.
One catch. The row is earned badges only, so the locked badges and their 4/30-style progress that used to sit inline are now one hover away. On a profile with nothing earned, the strip just says View achievements.
