Pound signs find their issue
Type a number after # in any composer and the upstream issue or pull request appears with its title. Keep typing, and it turns into a GitHub link on its own.

You settle into a reply and type #722. A moment later a small panel opens under the caret with the title of that issue upstream and the repository name beside the number. Press Enter, or just let a space land after the digits, and #722 becomes a full GitHub link.
Credit goes to paulinevos, who taught the composer to read numbers instead of names. Type one to ten digits, no leading zero, and after 120 milliseconds it asks GitHub for that exact issue or pull request, since the two share one number line. Click, Enter, Tab, or a trailing space or punctuation inserts the link. The lookup goes to the upstream named in GITHUB_REPOSITORY=owner/repo, the same setting that now feeds the changelog, insights, and issue filing. Each answer is cached for five minutes.
Here is the catch. A space is a commitment. Type #723 mid-sentence and the space bar turns it into a link before you have decided you wanted one. Esc hushes the panel for that number at that spot. It also knows only one repository. A reference pinned elsewhere, owner/repo#123, and anything inside backticks stay ordinary text, and there is no searching by title. The number is the password.
