About page drafts its contributor lineup from GitHub

The hand-typed contributor list is gone. The About page now asks GitHub who has committed, then shows each handle with its commit count.

Open the About page and scroll to Contributors. Instead of the old hand-typed roll, you get a grid of tiles, each with an avatar, an @handle, and a commit count underneath, running from the heaviest committer down.

camilleislasse built the roll call. The page reads ten pages of 100 GitHub accounts, keeps only real users, drops bot accounts and two named agents, claude and ampagent, and passes along just the handle and the commit count. GitHub's own order stands, so the heaviest committers come first. The answer sits in the cache for an hour. A failed read is remembered for a minute, and the page says GitHub couldn't be reached instead of showing a broken grid.

There is one catch. Those ten pages are counted before the filtering, so bots and agents eat slots in the 1,000-account ceiling. If the repository ever passes a thousand contributors, the bottom of the list falls off, and there is no refresh button to ask for page eleven.
