Pictures and polls join the queue

The composer's image picker and Add poll button now work while you schedule a commit. Pictures and poll options sit privately until the due time, then ride out with the post.

You write a post, attach two screenshots, add alt text, then click Schedule and choose tomorrow at nine. The image picker stays on screen, and the scheduled list shows the pair waiting, counted as 2 images. Your poll options show up there too, so you can see what is queued before it goes out.

Credit xHeaven, who taught scheduled commits to carry attachments. Up to three pictures go in, each up to 10MB, scaled to 1600 pixels on the longest side and re-encoded for the web. Alt text runs to 1,000 characters. A poll takes two to four options of 50 characters each, running an hour, a day, three days, or a week. The pictures are stored when you schedule but stay invisible until the due time, when the scheduler builds the commit and hands it the images or the poll. Polls open only with approval, so a non-admin's poll waits for moderation.

One catch. You cannot have both. A poll and pictures rule each other out, so a post with screenshots cannot also ask a question. Pick one now and schedule the other for later.
