Traffic draws the line, and lets you click it
The traffic page now plots visits hour by hour or day by day, and switches between visitors, pageviews, average time and bounce rate. Click a referrer, then a device, and the chart, totals and lists all narrow to that slice.

You open Traffic, pick 7d, and a line now runs above the numbers, with buttons for visitors, pageviews, avg time and bounce rate. Choose today and it redraws by the hour. Choose a week and it draws by the day, with quiet days counted as zero. Then you click a row, t.co under referrers, and the line, the four totals and all five lists redraw around that one referrer. Click Phone under devices and it narrows again.
Credit goes to mnapoli, who wired every list to the report. Each click writes the filter into the address, so ?referrer=t.co&device=Phone is a link you can paste, and the back button undoes it. A filtered report costs Fathom 8 calls instead of 7, stays cached for five minutes per filter combination, and still lists the top 10 per breakdown. He also fixed the bounce rate. Fathom hands back a percentage, but the page multiplied it by 100 a second time, and 73 percent printed as 7336.
One catch. The chart counts in UTC, not your clock. A single day starts at midnight UTC, so in New York your today line opens at 8 p.m. yesterday.
