Organizations pick a lane of their own
Admins can repaint an organization's page in one of six lane colors or any hex they like. The avatar ring, the handle dot, and the link preview all follow along.

You open @laravel's page and there, beside the avatar, is a Color button. Click it and a dialog shows the square avatar ringed in blue, the handle behind a matching blue dot, and eight choices. They are Blue, Orange, Green, Violet, Teal, Rose, Ochre, and a rainbow Custom wheel. Tap teal and the little preview redraws on the spot.
Credit goes to mnapoli, who taught organization pages the color trick people already have. The six named lanes are Orange, Green, Violet, Teal, Rose, and Ochre. Custom accepts any six-digit hex. Until an admin picks one, the page is /dev/null's blue, #3b6fe0, and the change reaches the link preview too, which gets drawn again with the new rail color.
One catch. The color stops at the page. The ring around the avatar, the dot before the handle, and the link preview change, but the commits that mention the organization in your feed keep their authors' lanes. Your org's new teal won't follow it around the rest of the site.
