Hold a reaction, put names to the emoji

A long press on a reaction under a message now opens the list of everyone who left that emoji, and the list stays open when you lift your finger. A quick tap still adds or removes your own.

You are in a chat on your phone, and a message wears a heart with a little 7 beside it. Press that chip and keep your finger down for about four tenths of a second. A card rises above it with the emoji, the exact count, and one name per line for everyone who left it. Lift your finger and the card stays right there. Tap somewhere else or press Escape and it folds away.

Credit goes to xHeaven, who taught the chips to tell a hold from a tap. The hold gives up if your finger wanders more than 10 pixels, if a second finger lands, or if you swipe away, and the release that ends a hold never toggles your own reaction. The name list scrolls inside a card capped at 18rem tall, so even a crowd of 99 stays reachable, and the phone gives a tiny 8-millisecond buzz when the card opens. A short tap reacts exactly as before.

One catch. It is a finger-only gesture. Pressing and holding with a mouse does nothing, so on a desktop you keep the old hover tooltip, which prints the same names as one long comma-separated line instead of a list. Enter and Space will not open it either. The only keyboard route is Shift+F10, which opens the same list of names.
