Null byte stops swallowing your text
Paste a stray null character into a commit, reply, message, or poll and the rest of the line used to vanish. Now the whole text saves, with the null quietly deleted.

You paste a commit out of a terminal. It might be a trace, a log line, anything with an invisible 0x00 in the middle. You hit send. Yesterday the preview showed the whole thing while the saved post stopped dead at the null. Today it reads right down to the last character, minus that one byte.
Credit Akiyo974, who taught every incoming request to clean itself before validation. A small filter now runs first, ahead of trimming, and walks the query string and the form or JSON fields, nested arrays included, deleting every 0x00 it finds. A commit of "Hello\0, devnull" saves as "Hello, devnull", and replies, messages, poll options, and image descriptions get the same treatment. The raw body stays byte-for-byte as sent, so SSH and signed API requests still verify.
One catch. The byte is deleted, not turned into a space, so It was\0DNS lands as It wasDNS, the words run together. If you want the gap, type a space on one side yourself.
