The tab title does the unread math

Unread notifications and remote messages now share one number in your browser tab, and a new remote blinks its sender's name there. The 10-second hush now covers only the chime, so banners keep coming.

You're deep in a diff, the inbox tab parked off to the side, when you notice it now reads (3) Inbox. Three what? The notifications you haven't opened plus the remote messages you haven't read, added together. Open it, clear them, and the prefix disappears.

Credit goes to paulinevos, who taught the tab title to keep that tally. The number is unread notifications plus unread remote messages, shown only when it tops zero, and it refreshes on the site's 30-second notification check and whenever you change pages. When a message lands while you're elsewhere, the title swaps in the sender's line. It might read Alice in dev/null core sent you a message for an org, or Alice sent you a message for a direct remote. That line flips once a second for six seconds, then holds until you bring a tab forward. Every open tab for your account gets the same alert through the browser's own cross-tab channel.

Only the sound still waits. Ten seconds must pass between chimes across every remote and every tab, but banners and the blinking name now ignore that cooldown, so a burst can announce each arrival while the speaker stays quiet for the rest of the ten seconds.

One catch remains in the tally. Notifications count in groups, so five stars on one commit add one, while remote messages count one apiece, and the tab title adds the two anyway.
