See your quote before you commit to it
The quote dialog now gets the eye button and shortcut preview the commit and reply boxes already have. Code, mentions, images and the link card render in place of your draft before you post.

You hit Quote on a commit, type a line, paste a snippet, drop in two screenshots. You want to know how it will land, so you click the eye beside the image button and the textarea gives way to the post itself. You see highlighted code, real @names, image thumbnails, and a dashed box where the link card goes.
Credit goes to Rolf-Smit, who handed the quote dialog the preview the commit and reply boxes already had. Tap the shortcut and it flips the same way. Esc puts you back in the textarea, and the posting shortcut still submits while you are looking. The draft paints right away from your text. Only when it finds a code block or an @mention does it ask the server to color the code and link the names, and a failed request leaves both plain. The box keeps its usual 4,000-character ceiling.
One catch. The card always takes the first link in your draft. The full composer lets you choose which link gets the card. The quote dialog has no picker, so paste two URLs and the first one gets the card while the second sits there as text.
