Voice notes get a fast-forward
A little button beside every voice note now steps from 1× to 1.5× to 2×. The clock shrinks to match, so 14 seconds reads 0:07 at double speed.

You get a voice note, press play, and the clock reads 0:14. Tap the little 1× sitting after the speaker and the label springs to 1.5×, then 2×, while the clock blurs down to 0:07 and the voice races ahead. One more tap and you are back at normal speed.
Credit goes to xHeaven, who gave each note three speeds and a button in its own slot, so nothing on the row shifts when you press it. The clock divides the time by the speed. So 0:14 becomes 0:09 at 1.5× and 0:07 at 2×, then counts up through that shorter length as you listen. Change speed mid-play and the audio obeys at once. Choose one before you ever press play and it holds, even through the silent moment iOS needs to start audio. Phones get the button too, while the speaker stays hidden for touch.
One catch. The speed belongs to that one note and that one visit. Reload the page and every note is back at 1×, because nothing about it is saved anywhere.
