Sign-ups get their day in the sun

Operations now charts sign-ups for every day of the range, and one click swaps the same bars over to the daily conversion rate. Hover a day and you get both numbers at once.

You open Operations, hit Metrics, and between the active-user counts and the activation chart there's a new block. It's Acquisition by day. Pick 30d and you get a bar for each day, today's drawn lighter because it's still counting, with a dashed line across the chart at the average.

The credit goes to mnapoli, who built the chart so the two measures take turns instead of sharing two y-axes. Sign-ups come straight from the database, bots left out, grouped by the UTC date the account was created. Flip the toggle to conversion rate and the same bars redraw as the share of Fathom's visitors who signed up that day, asked for one day at a time and cached for five minutes. Either way, the hover box tells the whole story. It gives you sign-ups, visitors, and the rate between them.

One catch. A day with nothing to show doesn't get a zero bar, it just goes missing. Days with no sign-ups drop out of the sign-ups view, and days where Fathom saw no visitors drop out of the conversion view, so flipping the toggle can shuffle which days you're looking at.
