Volume lands at the end of every voice note
Hover the speaker beside a voice note and its waveform becomes a ramp you can drag. Set it once and every note in Remotes plays at that level, even after a reload.

You open a conversation in Remotes and hover the little speaker at the end of a voice note. The waveform you were about to scrub becomes a ramp. It has 48 bars climbing left to right, filled up to your level, with a percentage sitting where the clock was. Move away and the waveform and time come back.
Credit xHeaven, who turned the waveform's 48 bars into a fader. Drag across the ramp to pick a level, or Tab to the speaker, press Enter and use the arrows for 5-point steps, Page Up and Page Down for 20, Home and End for silence or full. One setting covers every note from anyone, applies to one already playing, and saves in your browser, never on the server. Other tabs pick up the change.
There is one catch. The speaker is a desktop creature. Phones and tablets never show it, and their voice notes look exactly as before, so the level you set on your laptop doesn't reach the same conversation on your phone.
