Replies break formation in your inbox
Replies to the same commit no longer fold into one expandable row. Each one now gets its own line, and the rail beside it wears the replier's color.

Open your notifications and a busy commit no longer arrives as one lump. Where you clicked a single row reading "3 updates" to unfold it, you now get three rows, each with the replier's face, their words and the time. A long argument reads like a log.
Credit goes to brendt, who took replies out of the grouping pass. Every reply is its own entry. Each reply is one event with one actor, counted separately when the unread badge adds up. Stars, new followers and mentions still fold together, and the list still hands you 20 notifications at a time. The rail down the left edge wears the lane color of the person each row belongs to, the same hue that rings their avatar elsewhere, and ends in a matching dot.
The marker for where you left off is now a muted band reading HEAD@{last visit}. The dashed line is gone, and the row above it drops its bottom border so the band reads as the seam. At the end of the list the rail takes the oldest actor's color instead of gray.
One catch. Replies never collapse now, and the expand button only shows on rows holding more than one event, so a thread of 24 replies becomes 24 rows, fills a 20-notification page by itself and shoves everything older onto the next one.
