New org, new remote, no browser
The phone app now searches for someone to message and starts an org with a name and up to 99 people. The web's pickers come along, reasons and all.

You're on the couch with the phone, tapped into Remotes, and you type @nunomaduro into New remote. Back comes the name, the bio, the avatar, or a line in the web's own words. It says "doesn't follow you".
Credit simonhamp, who wired the app's Remotes into the web's pickers. Type a few letters and you get up to eight people, matched on username and name, with a leading @ ignored and anyone you've muted or blocked left out. Each comes with a reason or a green light. The reason can be "has remotes off" or "doesn't follow you". New org takes a name up to 60 characters and up to 99 other people. You maintain it, and they all come in as contributors. Search answers 300 times a minute, starting an org 30.
The old rules ride along. Everyone you add has to follow you and have Remotes on, with no block against you or anyone else joining, and the whole org caps at 100. One bad name fails the request alone, numbered, with the web's sentence. That sentence is "@taylorotwell doesn't follow you". Ask about an org you're not in and you get a 404, and so do both calls with Remotes switched off.
There is one catch. Start an org from the app while you're in a timeout and it goes through. The web checks the timeout before New org and refuses. The app's route skips that check.
