Every @ in your bio now has a face
Tag a friend, an old employer, or the framework you swear by, and your bio grows a little avatar pill for each. Click one and GitHub opens in a new tab.

You sync your GitHub bio, open your profile page, and the flat text has grown jewelry. "Building @laravel, previously @Vercel" now reads as two rounded pills, each with a round 20-pixel avatar and the handle beside it. Hover and a pill turns blue without changing width, so the line doesn't twitch. The company line picks it up too, and the same pills show in the sidebar and in the card that pops up when you hover a name.
Credit goes to 0z3, who built the pill and moved the mention rule into one shared spot. Each tag points at github.com/<handle> and opens in a new tab. The avatar is simply github.com/<handle>.png fetched at size 40, lazy-loaded, drawn at 20. No API call, no database column. Handles run to 39 characters, and the rule mirrors the server's, so emails, @inertiajs/react and @vue.js stay flat text. The @ shrinks to zero font size, so copying the bio keeps it.
One catch. Every pill walks you off the site. Tag somebody who has an account here and you still land on github.com, not their profile. Nothing checks the handle exists, either, so a typo earns a gray circle instead of an avatar and a GitHub 404 when you click.
