Sync from GitHub, no sign-in round trip
Step one of onboarding now grows a Sync from GitHub button the moment you click through to edit your profile. Your new bio and avatar land without signing out and back in.

You're on the first onboarding step, looking at your GitHub-mirrored name and bio. You click Edit on GitHub, fix a typo in your bio, and come back to the tab. A Sync from GitHub button is now sitting beside Looks right. Press it, watch the little spinner, and the card fills in with your latest handle, avatar, and bio.
Credit goes to anatolesns, who wired this step to the same sync Settings uses. It looks your account up by its permanent GitHub ID, then refetches your name, username, avatar, bio, company, location, and website, plus your public SSH keys, and records the sync time. Each press costs four GitHub API requests out of the app's shared 5,000-per-hour budget.
One catch. The sync never touches your email address. The code deliberately leaves it alone, because the public GitHub API only knows your public email while sign-in also sees the private one. Change your email on GitHub and onboarding will cheerfully update everything else around it.
