Features

Follow the whole shop, not just its people

Organization pages now carry a Follow button, and the organizations you follow sit above the people on your Following list. No more following a company's programmers one by one.

Open an organization's page and there's a Follow button beside Share, under the follower count. Click it and the count ticks up. The button becomes Following with a chevron, and your Following page grows an Organizations section above the people.

Credit mnapoli, who gave organizations a follow list of their own instead of stuffing them into the people list. A new record ties you to the organization and keeps the date you followed it. The Following page shows 10 organizations at a time behind Show more organizations, leaving the 30-a-page people list alone, and the API hands out 30 per page to signed-in callers. Your following count now adds the organizations in, and your data export lists them with their follow dates.

One catch. The follow is a bookmark for now. Organizations can't commit yet, so nothing new turns up in your Following log when you follow one, and nothing leaves when you unfollow.
