Replies get a guest list

Every reply now opens with a Replying to line that pre-ticks everyone on the commit you are answering. Uncheck a name and that person stops getting the notification.

Click reply on a busy commit and a new line sits above the box. It reads Replying to @ada, @linus and @grace. Click it and a checklist drops down with every name already ticked and the person you are answering tagged Commit author. Post, and only the ticked names hear about it.

Credit goes to richardkeep, who gave replies a recipient list. The names come from the commit directly above your box, never include you, and the author's checkbox stays fixed on. The server accepts at most 100 recipients in all, counting anyone you type an @mention for, and rejects any name that was not on that commit. Your unchecked names ride along with the draft saved in your browser.

One catch. The list is the commit you are answering, not the whole thread. Speak up early, get answered four replies later, and you are not on it unless somebody carried your name forward. To reach someone further up, type their @handle. That mention notifies them whether the box is ticked or not.
